White swimwear usually plays it safe. This does not. A gold ring sits at the centre of the bandeau, and short puff sleeves fall off the shoulder on either side, so the top reads closer to a summer blouse than a bikini.
The fabric is a crinkle texture rather than a flat knit, which matters for two reasons: it holds its shape when wet, and textured white is far less transparent than smooth white. The bottoms pick up the same fabric with a narrow ruffle down each hip and a high cut leg.
The bandeau is straight across and structured through the bust. The sleeves sit on the upper arm rather than the shoulder, so they stay put when you move but leave the shoulder line clear.
Good to know: this is a suit that photographs as an outfit, which is the point of it. The ring is metal, so store it away from other hardware. Rinse in cool water, dry flat, no wringing.
